Tiara Rhone, Learning & Development

Tiara Nibbs is a founding partner of Uriel Consulting, LLC. Prior to starting her consulting career, Tiara spent five years working at her alma mater, Purdue University, in a variety of leadership assignments including Director of Leadership Development.

Tiara’s passion for education included positions in Georgia at Oak Knoll and Mimosa Elementary Schools of Fulton County Schools for six years. She also served as a key staff member at Robert D. Fowler YMCA focusing on teen’s development programs. Tiara was honored to serve as an Indiana Governor’s Fellow under former Governor Frank O’Bannon and through this 12-month rotation she studied multiple state agencies and built numerous relationships in state and federal government. Tiara also served as consultant and advisor to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources working with them to develop their historic preservation and archaeological initiative for The Underground Railroad. Key internships with KMC Telecom and the Indiana House of Representatives afforded Tiara the opportunity to participate in the development of key projects for both state and federal regulatory commissions.

Tiara is a servant leader involved with various civic and community organizations. She has passionately worked with the local and national Lupus Foundations. Other organizational involvement include board membership of Camp Horizon and volunteering in the classroom at James Whitcom Riley Indianapolis Public School 43. Tiara most delights in her time as a Breast Health Advocate with the R.E.D. Alliance and the time she takes working with her church Restoration Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN.

Tiara holds a Master of Arts degree in Education from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Organizational Leadership from Purdue University. She also studied at Oxford University, Oriel College, as part of Purdue University’s Study Abroad Program. Tiara is married to Robert J. Rhone and they reside in Indianapolis, Indiana.
